Lisa Ann Puhlhofer is an East Antrim based contemporary painter. She uses a variety of mediums and produces work in all genres; however, she is particularly drawn to Portraiture and Still Life. For her it is paramount to represent the character of her subject as well as the likeness, combining the play of light on the form and colour relationships.

In 2015 following a 36-year career in nursing, she took early retirement to pursue her passion for art. Initially self-taught, Lisa went onto study under the late Tony Merrick ROI and has successfully completed a 2-year Diploma course at Heatherleys School of Fine Art in London

Lisa an experienced commissioned Portrait painter, her painting of retiring principal Dr R Ellis now hangs in Oxford University.
